WHAT ODORS DO THESE CUSHIONS ELIMINATE?
Those caused by most common household spills, e.g. milk, wine, juice and pet accidents.

ARE THEY EFFECTIVE?
They are exceptionally effective, and they work for the life of your cushion.

HOW DO THE CUSHIONS WORK?
A special moisture barrier on the surface of the cushion prevents spills or pet accidents from saturating the cushion, causing potential damage to the sub-floor. This barrier give you time to blot the moisture back through the carpet. Exposure to moisture activates the technology, causing enzymes to consume and eliminate any organic material that has penetrated the carpet, taking with it any objectionable odor.

WHY DO I NEED THE SPRAY SOLUTION?
The topical spray will help remove the stain. It activates the enzymes in the cushion.The topical application consumes and eliminates organic matter in the carpet, eliminating both odors and stains.

SO WHY NOT BUY JUST THE SPRAY?
There are many times the number of enzymes in one square inch of cushion than in the spray. If you already have installed your cushion and carpet, the spray will do an excellent job. But if you’re replacing your carpet and cushion, using both is recommended for complete odor removal.

IF THERE IS A REPEAT SPILLAGE, WILL THE ODOR REMOVAL CONTINUE?
Yes. The system will continue to perform for the useful life of the cushion, provided spray is used correctly with each spill.

IS IT SAFE?

WILL DISINFECTANT AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE SYSTEMS?
Yes. If disinfectant is used in conjunction with one of these systems to deal with a spill, then it will kill the enzyme- generating bacteria, and render the treatment useless. Also, if disinfectant is mixed with bottle spray then it becomes useless as well. However, very few household disinfectants are recommended for use on carpets.

ARE THERE CARPET TREATMENTS WITH WHICH THE SYSTEM WILL NOT OPERATE?
These systems can not be used in conjunction with carpets which have antimicriobial finishes.

CAN THE CUSHION BE USED OVER UNDER-FLOOR HEATING?
Yes.

CAN THESE CUSHIONS BE USED WITH SCOTCHGUARD AND OTHER FINISHES?
Yes. They are fully compatible with PTFE base anti-stain treatments.

IS THERE A RESIDUE AFTER STAIN REMOVAL?
There is none.

WHAT ABOUT AIRBORNE ODORS?
These cushion systems work on odors coming from the carpet. They do not effect smells in the air.

DOES THE ODOR REMOVAL EFFECT LAST?
Yes. These systems will control odors for the life of the cushion, even after wet extraction cleaning.

WILL THE SYSTEM KEEP WORKING EVEN IF I CHANGE MY CARPET?
Yes. But of course you really should get new cushion when you replace the carpet.

HOW DOES THE CUSHION AFFECT MY CARPET WARRANTY?
It’s best to refer to your carpet manufacturer’s warranty. Some manufacturers extend their carpet warranties if the carpet is installed over certain cushions.
